The Department of Manufacturing or as its most known as Baktoid Armour Workshop, is the item production arm of the Trade Federation. Baktoid Armour Workshop is a manufacturing company specializing in personal tools, work clothing and various apparatus to ease the workers' jobs around the galaxy. Whether you need a vacuum survival set for external repairs to your space station, or a biological sensor pack for your weekend rancor hunt with your uncle, you can find it all at Baktoid Armour Workshop.

Moreover, Baktoid is part of the big Trade Federation family and helps the respected government in keeping its members and troops well equipped. This makes the Federation members the most efficient workers when compared man to man to any other government's. The company has been merged into the Trade Federation Ministry of Production. Leadership is made up of the Director of Manufacturing and the Deputy Director of Manufacturing.
